PUPP (Partners United for People and Pets) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and our mission is to promote the general health and well-being of underserved individuals through the provision of pet care assistance. Our goal is to advance wellness by maintaining and strengthening the bonds between these individuals and their animal companions.
Essentially, PUPP will help individuals care for their pets when physical or financial barriers prevent them from doing so on their own.
Free and low-cost pet care for those who need it.
Animal companions offer therapy and support... and research shows they can extend your lifespan and improve your health. However, too often the elderly and disabled have to give up their pets because they can no longer care for them and cannot afford the high cost of dog walkers or pet sitters.
PUPP’s mission is to keep pets in their homes.
PUPP’s mission is to help people by helping pets.
We are a volunteer-run 510(c) nonprofit and we need volunteers to help the elderly and disabled care for their pets by providing the following services:
dog walking | feedings | playtime | brushings | litter scooping

Why are these services so important?
PUPP's goal is to help people live longer and healthier lives by helping their pets.
Research indicates that having a pet improves mental and physical health:
-decreasing feelings of loneliness and depression
-decreasing blood pressure
-relieving stress
-increasing socialization and decreasing agitation among individuals suffering from Alzheimer's disease
We believe that PUPP's services will also result in the following benefits:
-improvement in quality of life for animal companions
-decrease in the number of animals relinquished to shelters, ultimately leading to -a decrease in the rate of euthanasia
PUPP doesn't only want to improve lives--
we want to save lives!
